Dr. Saurabh Soni is Bachelor in Ayurvedic Medicine and Bachelor in Surgery, after that he has done Post Graduate Diploma in Wellness Management (Hyderabad) which focus on a holistic approach for Life Style disorders. He is practicing as Nutritionist and Ayurvedic Consultant special interest in Weight Management, Diabetes Management, Thyroid, and PCOD allied disorders.

I am specialized in Life Style Disorders like Obesity, Diabetes, and PCOD, Hypothyroid, etc. through Diet, Herbs, Ayurvedic Medicine and Life Style Correction.
Tell us about your education and family background.
I have done my BAMS from Kanpur University and done Post Graduate in Wellness Management that focuses Holistic Treatment of Life Style Disorders. I have also done Hospital Management from Symbiosis University Pune & MBA-HA from AHA, Noida (UP). My father is an Accountant in the irrigation department and mother is an Ayurveda physician.
How and why did you decide to come in health and wellness profession?
I would say –It is inherited, my Mother is an Ayurvedic Doctor, her forefathers is traditional Vaidya. My mother is a source of inspiration, so Ayurveda is my first choice since childhood I am seeing medicine manufacturing in my house, getting cure patient through it. It inclined me for Ayurveda. In my posting in district Hospital, I realized there is a burden of lifestyle disorders which arises because of faulty eating habits, Life Style problems and avoiding of Diagnostics in regular life.
Who is the one person in your life who inspires you to grow in the industry?
My Inspiration is my mother, and professional mentor Mr. Rajat Goel, from him I conceived how to develop discipline self and professional and thinking process, great learning always to do right ..In Hindi APNE DHARM KA PALAN KARO
How is the journey of your life in your professional career?
It is interesting, Challenging and some point of time in the state to give up, as it is easier for me lead professional Ladder as Management Professional I have been also remaining active as Strategy Consultant for Hospital Sector. But it is an opportunity for me to work upon social health. There is a lot of ups and down almost a decade, the initial project was failed but continues to put effort leads to me here.
What is the most challenging situation you have faced in your professional life?
When I started my chain of Clinics, at the same phase of time blessed with baby boy both are big life event but unfortunately, my child went for major health problems. This problem cannot predict by any management tool. I have to close my three clinics at that time.
What do you do to inspire today’s generation?
Get educated while you are in school/college and Follow the ethics in the profession, never take short routes of success, no need to follow a big dream, even small works better if you follow religiously .. Give back to society… always work for better world so coming generations lead to better health and productive life.
Who is your idol and whom do you consider as your motivation
My Father is Idol for me, the example of patience, he worked as an Accountant in Irrigation department but his management leads to living us good life, we are 2 brother & 1 sister yet he has responsibility towards his parents and sisters & brothers, he has big family but his skill towards home economics, courage, and patience bring us well educated. He hardly speaks loud even in the toughest economic problem.

What is your plan in the next 5 years?
My Plan to reach maximum families, Introducing Healthy cooking learning comes from Ayurveda and Paleo Principals and start coaching classes for masses where they learn what is best for their body, Mind, and soul.

According to you, what is the most challenging situation in the health care sector nowadays?
Accessibility and affordability of healthcare services and there gaps in preventive healthcare there are just understood as diagnostics services.
What do you want to say about the current healthcare situation in the country and what do you suggest to improve them?
Huge improvement needed in the public healthcare sector, Private sector need to work on affordability, equally present in Indian geography.
Though Dietary recommendation, guidelines on Food Safety and adulteration must be implemented as now Lifestyle Disease burden is increasing.
