  1. BAKING SODA

How to apply : 

  • Mix half a cup of baking soda, into your cold water bath.
  • Sit in the baking soda – cold water bath for around 20 minutes and soak yourself into it.
  • After your bath, pat yourself dry with a clean towel.
  • Another alternative method is to, mix three teaspoons of baking soda with one-fourth cup of water.
  • Make a paste out of it.

  1. APPLE CIDER VINEGAR

 

It contains acetic acid that soothes irritation and inflammation caused by sunburn. Apple Cider Vinegar reduces the incidence of blisters caused by sunburn too. Usually, for a light to medium sunburn, you will get overnight results. Depending upon the sensitivity of your skin, the effect may vary.

Vinegar, especially apple cider vinegar, can restore the pH level of the skin to normal and expedite the process of healing.

 

How to apply :

  • Fill a spray bottle with some Apple Cider Vinegar and spray it one the sunburnt affected areas of the skin.
  • Allow it to dry.
  • If you have overly sensitive skin, mix Apple cider vinegar with water in a ratio of 3:1.
